Omnia's AGCs, compressors and limiters.11 are the first of their kind because they use Chameleon technology that transparently analyzes music in real time and adjusts internal parameters for optimal performance across a wide range of materials. This process results in improved performance, ease of use and, most importantly, a noticeably better sound that reveals more detail, clarity and quality while maintaining the desired sound level.
The new Density Detector, an important aspect of the new technology, enables the system to handle hyper-compressed content properly, as the Density Detector Omnia.11 remains on-target at all times. The Ultra-LoIMD Multiband Limiter System, coupled with smart gain reduction algorithms, makes the limiters sound amazingly transparent and natural. All AGC and limitation algorithms use an automatic accelerator/deceleration mechanism that fine-tunes the perceptible distortion of the inter-modulation. The attack/release functions adapt based on the content density. This groundbreaking method literally analyses the audio content in both the amplitude and frequency domain and then adjusts the timing networks - on the fly - to control the signal transparently, without the control being heard. This enhanced performance of the AGC and limiter functions generates exciting live voice quality that is second to none.
Omnia.11 integrates a laboratory-quality stereo generator with dual MPX outputs, 19kHz reference output for external RDS/RBDS systems, and > 80dB pilot protection - with or without activated composite clamping functions. Composite clipping is available but not necessary as Omnia has completed its beta tests without using composite clipping. The system is also designed with MPX spectral low-pass filter to protect RDS/RBDS and SCA signals when the composite clipping function is used.

Omnia.11 also delivers thunderous basses with a correct harmonic balance.aOmnia has expanded its Phat Bass effect to create a full-fledged bass algorithm for Omnia.11 that can keep up with hip-hop, urban, rap and club/dance music heavy-bass standards while maintaining the right levels for the more mainstream rock, country and light listening requirements. This level of response is difficult to achieve because the bass spectrum has the largest number of harmonics and they all need to be properly tracked in the time domain. Also, every additional spectra that is created has to be managed, otherwise the bass area starts to sound distorted and unnatural. This is what makes Omnia.11's bass amplification algorithm so innovative, because this process requires much more than just fancy EQ, bass clipping or filtering. Even the location where the function is inserted into the signal stream is important, as is the way it maintains its frequency range along with the rest of the system.
Additional features include the MPX Tool, a built-in application that displays the FM multiplex (MPX) signal, peak modulation, pilot level, as well as a preview of the anomalous FM carrier; Diversity Delay with ramp-in and ramp-out capability for smooth transition and alignment of conventional analogue to HD radio signals; and an optional Arbitron PPM encoder and reliability monitor embedded in the audio processor that can email or text the end user. With a 10.5" diagonal touchscreen on the front panel, the GUI offers ease of use and improved measurement and diagnostics. Remote access is available via any web browser, as well as a local onboard WI-FI connection. AES/EBU digital and analog I/O is standard. The headphones' soft "patch points" are available for listening at any point in the processing chain. Omnia.11 also features an easy-to-use installation wizard to help you create a desired preset for each application.
